Best Christmas Gift
I’ve been having so much fun reading everyone’s holiday posts!
I don’t know about you, but it’s hard for me to describe in words the love and feeling that goes in Christmas. It can get very emotional sometimes (I’m a total sap, I know). So instead of getting all mushy on you guys, I thought I’d recap the gifts!!! I know that isn’t what Christmas is about, but Santa was quite good to us this year.
C made out like a bandit:
Lots of video games, board games, legos, and sports gear!
Then J had his dream Christmas……
…………AN APPLE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!
But my favorite gift he got this year was this:
The one I made for him for our wedding was starting to fall apart so he desperately needed a new one! 
And me? Well, Santa brought me some bling this year:
I asked for this cocktail ring from Swarovski and when J told me last week that he “went outside the box” for my Christmas gift I got a little scared (ok, a LOT scared!). So I was pleasantly surprised when I unwrapped this on Christmas Eve!!
There were lots of other gifts given and received, but nothing was better than when we got up Christmas morning and C told me he wanted me to open my gift first (and was super excited about it). He passed up opening all the gifts under the tree from Santa so that I could open my gift from him first. What a kid!!
And if you’re wondering what his present was, he and J made me a light box so that I can take pictures of my goodies even if it’s dark out (since I tend to bake late at night). It’s pretty fantastic!!
But more than anything, the way C acted Christmas morning was the best gift I could have ever received. I’m so proud. He’s such a great kid. And I totally just blew it. I said I wasn’t going to make this mushy!!!
So, on that note, I’m out. What was the best gift you received this year??

An apple cmas would bring a huge smile to my hubby’s face as well…. he refers to us being an “apple family” to his friends! Love the ring:)!

Awwww… I’m so glad you had such a great holiday! And I think it’s soooo sweet they made you a photo box!!!
I was touched by all the running and baking stuff I got. Everyone had listened to me or read my blog about things I needed or wished I had… even my brother did fantastic with a pair of awesome running gloves!
So glad your Christmas was made extra special by your extra special son and hubby. That’s what it’s all about..the love.
My best gift….can’t pin it down to just one. But the words my hubby wrote in the card he gave me Christmas morning were pretty darn hard to top.
Awww, sounds like you all had a great Christmas! I love that C got Scrabble! That’s one of my favorite games ever and you should totally use the last picture of you all in front of the tree for a Christmas card next year, it’s great! I got a pasta maker, which I think is my favorite gift and Andy got my a necklace!

Those guys will surprise you, won’t they?! Hans tries to do the same thing to me, but I hate surprises. That ring is fab!
