A Week of Firsts
Man, am I glad it’s Thursday night. I’m so looking forward to the weekend – it means I get to see my favorite boy soon! It’s getting harder and harder every day for me now. Not that I’m not enjoying my alone time with J, I am, I mean, we even went out to dinner on a weeknight – we’re 2 wild and crazy kids, I tell ya!! But I sure miss my boy. The weekend can’t get here soon enough.
So since I had some extra time on my hands this week, it ended up being a week of firsts!
My first time painting stripes (and probably my last since they’re a pain!):
My first time having electrodes attached to my ankle (or any other part of my body):
J always calls me the bionic woman. Hmmmm……maybe he’s on to something?
And my first time contacting a company about a giveaway:
I never thought I would actually contact anyone about providing a product to review or give away. But I really wanted to play up the silly mistake I made with tweeting I am a Marathong Maniac, and promote a product I truly believe in at the same time. Win win!

Weekend includes: celebrating a good friend’s birthday tonight, Veggie U’s event tomorrow, and Taste of Tremont on Sunday. A pretty good one, if I do say so myself!

I went swimming yesterday and I plan to do another session tomorrow…my arms are KILLING me…that is about the extent of my weekend plans! Have a wonderful bike ride tomorrow…oh and I love the stripes, but I have hear they are a pain in the a**:)

I had the electrodes thing done on my arm and hand a few years ago. It was weird and I was not a fan at all. I have friends in from out of town that I get to see tonight so we are heading to presque isle, their choice not mine since I don’t gamble. Saturday is the shot in the dark race and probably drinking afterwards and then Sunday I am hoping ot kayaking, watch soccer, possibly hit up taste of tremont and hopefully see harry potter. I am tired thinking about this weekend now.
I hear ya. When I’m away from my little guys even for a night, I start missing them. They are just little pieces of us! Have a great weekend Heather!
