Always Wear Black Bottoms

Yesterday’s WOD was brutal (and awesome at the same time):

21-15-9

  • Clean and jerk
  • Pull-up

So you had to do 21 Clean and Jerks and 21 pull-ups, then 15 clean and jerks and 15 pull-ups, and then 9 of each.

Sounds easier than it is (which I’m learning is always the case with Crossfit!).

And It was a high heart rate, crazy sweaty, 11 minutes.

Which also reminded me why I never wear these gray shorts to work out in anymore:

All the cool kids pee their pants at Crossfit, didn’t you hear? :)

From now on I’ll stick to black.

Do you wear light colored bottoms when working out, or stick to black? I’m sticking to black from now on!

LOL – I typically stick with black for that very reason. I have some pink shorts (terrible for running in though they’re running shorts) that I’d wear to spin. I never seemed to learn my lesson. And then I left the building walking down the street look like I’d wet myself.

this is hilarious! I either have black or hot pink – go figure. I like to stick to dark colors myself!

#16 is pretty funny – “you need to get out there.” hahahhaa I don’t even have a good comment back to that but the saying itself is like so bizarre to me.

I learned this during my first half marathon. However, I think I may have really peed my pants! Just a little. Maybe.
    Whoops.

It’s not that bad, just means you put in a good workout! I wear black bottoms a lot though.

LOL! I usually stick to black! It was so warm here on Monday though, I still had a dark spot on them!

Oh no. That happened to Ted when he started running races. He only had grey shorts. He would absolutely soak them in sweat so he vowed never to run again until he got some black shorts.

hahaha – Heather you are the best. Only you would post that pic online ;) . I say go with it… sweaty shorts are the sign of a kick butt work out!

I normally stick to all black bottoms – but just got the vintage purple compression capris from ON that I am now hesitant to try out…
