I’ve been looking forward to this day since the first day I started the invisalign process 2 years ago.

Here were the original computer generated before and after shots:

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

I was so self conscious that I used to always smile with my mouth shut, or made sure I stood on the right side of photos because there was less chance my crazy front tooth would show (not kidding, I even asked my wedding photographer to only take photos of me from the right!).

To show you how bad it really was, I’m setting all my pride aside and posting this picture:

Whoa mama! But it really shows how jacked up my teeth really were (I sucked my thumb until I was 6 years old and had horrible crowding on the bottom!).

And, like most of you know, after 16 months of Invisalign, I went to full on adult braces to finish up the process.

Which was only supposed to last 3-4 months.

Well, EIGHT months later…………..I got this voice mail:

And then this happened:

Oh, hey there…..

Brace face no more!!!!

And I think they look damn good. Pretty close to the original “after” photo, right??!

It’s so amazing how different they look. I think I look different!

What a relief. I can’t tell you how much I was over those braces (I may or may not have even left one orthodontist appointment in tears).

I’ve pretty much bombarded twitter and Facebook with braces photos and comments the past 2 days, so I promise this is it.

Happy NO MORE BRACES day!!
