Foot Problems and WINNERS
Like I mentioned yesterday, I’ve been have trouble with my left foot for a little while now.
I did this workout 2 weeks ago:
- 1,000 double unders for time
I know it sounds crazy, but…….I love to jump rope!!
And when I woke up the next morning my calves were MAD sore. Like, more sore than I can ever remember them being. I was hobbling around like an old lady. I’m sure it was quite entertaining.
But when Jay told me he was going to run 4 miles that night I jumped at the chance thinking it would help loosen them up. Instead, the run hurt my calves like hell.
And the next morning when I woke up my foot hurt. Whomp, whomp.
The pain comes and goes, but running and jumping rope aggravate it. Jay’s convinced that it’s plantar fasciitis (noooooo!). So I’m in the process of getting a professional opinion, and now avoiding running and jumping like the plague (I jumped rope yesterday and today it’s the worst it’s been).
Anyone have any other advice/opinions? Have you ever had plantar fasciitis??
