Scenes From The Weekend, 21

My weekend was pretty much Crossfit obsessed.

It all started when the first Crossfit Open Wod (14.1) was announced Thursday night!

The texts, phone calls, strategizing, all started rolling in Thursday night. :)

So I wore my new Reebok Crossfit shirt on Friday in excitement for the weekend.

I’m kind of in love with the colors on this shirt.

I’ll post all about how Jay and I did on 14.1 tomorrow, but I have to say how proud I am of my 40 year old! He gave it everything he had in this workout – and, to be honest, it was pretty sexy. ;)

Saturday morning was more crossfit:

I swear, every workout is harder than it looks. Every.single.time.

But the rest of the day was spent maxin and relaxin while Jay spent his time at a beer fest. It was my dream day: hard workout and then quality solo time on my couch with a movie, the dogs, and fuzzy blanket. :)

We did go out for a late dinner, though, when Jay finally got home.

Sausage and pepper pizza and humble pie from Humble in Lakewood. I could eat this every weekend – SO GOOD.

Sunday was pretty much a repeat of Saturday except Jay was home. I cannot complain, friends. My weekend was pretty damn good.

How was your weekend?? Relaxing? Busy? Full of good food??

p.s. If you didn’t win my Cleveland Marathon race giveaway – my friend, Jess, is running a giveaway on her blog right now!!

Glad you had a good one. We basically worked out and hung with the family! Good stuff.

Can you explain what the 14.1 is? Or am I missing it? I saw Allison talking about it too.

That sounds like the best weekend ever! I have a hard time relaxing over the weekend – working both Friday and Saturday nights I feel like there isn’t enough time to get everything done that I want, but then I realize they are my expectations and no one elses, so this last weekend I caught up on my DVR – it was awesome!
