Crossfit Open 14.3

I got lucky this week!



I mean, deadliest aren’t my jam or anything, but they’re also not anything horrible either.

After last week’s disaster, I planned ahead this week did the workout in the first heat of everyone. It helps when I just get it over with. My nerves aren’t as bad that way. :)


I knew physically doing the 205# deadlifts were possible, I just didn’t know if I’d get there in time.

Quick recap – I made it to 205# and somehow managed 3 reps at that weight – it literally came down to the last second! (Which you can see from the following progression of photos)

But what I really want to show you is the support we give each other.

I was really happy about this one. And Jay getting this all on camera is just so cool. Every time I look at these pictures they remind me why I love this sport so much.

Of course, my final score of 133(!!) made me super excited, but having the support from everyone made me even happier. I’m such a sap. :) #friendsforlife

I know the next two workouts are going to be TOUGH. So I’m reveling in last week’s success for the time being (well, until 14.4 is announced tomorrow night!).

Do you like to go first or last? Even in school when giving reports I always went first. The anxiety from waiting is too much for me!! :)

    Amazing! You did great! I couldn’t get past people watching me never mind lifting the peanut weight that I’d be able to handle. You’re doing so good with Cross Fit. When’s you’re TV appearance? :)

    Nice job!!!! Badass score girl! I seriously love the progression of pics and the one were your just is jumping in the air – classic!!! This is what Crossfit is all about!
